During this two-hour experience, you’ll:
Mix and shape your own quick-rise loaf
Learn foundational bread-making techniques
Visit and feed the Highland coos while your dough rises
Enjoy slow, unplugged farm time
Take home your freshly baked loaf + recipe card

Easter Egg Hunt
Celebrate springtime on the farm with a joyful community Easter Egg Hunt at Lochan Zanda Highland Farm — a day filled with fresh air, laughter, and a little countryside magic. This free, family-friendly event welcomes neighbors, friends, and visitors of all ages to gather, explore, and make sweet seasonal memories together.
Wander the pastures as little hunters search for colorful eggs, enjoy scenic hay rides across the farm, and spend time with our beloved Highland coos. For those wanting an extra farm experience, coo treat buckets will be available for purchase so guests can safely feed and interact with the herd.
Come hungry — refreshments and farm treats will be available for purchase throughout the event, perfect for enjoying a relaxed spring afternoon surrounded by rolling fields and good company.

Walk a mile (not really) in the farmer’s shoes. We’ll brush the coos, barn work, learn how to drive the tractor & many more fun things that go on in a farmer’s day.
After learning the ropes & getting dirty, we’ll finish with a picnic lunch & ice cold beverages.

Grab a blanket, bring the family, and join us for a cozy evening at the farm for our Community Moo-vie Night! We’ll be showing a family-friendly movie inside the barn while the Highland coos graze peacefully in the distance and the sun sets over the fields.
Admission is free, and concessions will be available for purchase on site—think popcorn, sweet treats, and farm-style snacks to enjoy during the show.
Before the movie begins, hop on a hay ride through the pasture, say hello to the coos, and settle in for a relaxed night under the barn lights with your neighbors and friends.

Boos & Coos: Halloween Night at the Farm 🎃🐮
Get ready for a delightfully spooky evening at Boos & Coos — our favorite Halloween tradition at Lochan Zanda Highlands!
Join us on Halloween night for a magical evening where little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes can trick-or-treat amongst the Highland coos. Wander through the pasture and barn areas in costume, collecting treats while our fluffy herd looks on with their usual calm (and slightly judgmental) curiosity.
This free community event is all about fall fun, farm magic, and a little bit of Halloween mischief. Families can enjoy:
