Big things are happening here at Lochan Zanda Highlands Farm, and we’re not just talking about the hayfields!

As East Tennessee settles into the rhythm of summer, we’re entering a new season of growth on the land. From the rising frame of our new steel barn to tractor raking hay in the fields, these long-awaited updates are part of our evolving vision for a peaceful, working farm retreat.

You might spot a few familiar faces as things take shape. Our Highland cattle, lovingly known as the coos, and Mushalaki the donkey are often nearby, watching the progress with quiet curiosity. We’re making room for more meaningful experiences. Whether you come to learn, rest, explore, or simply connect with the land, this space is for you. Things may look a little unfinished for now, but every change is guided by care and purpose.
